Application of CVAM-based management accounting in mobile telecommunication enterprises

CVAM-based management accounting emphasizes that enterprises should make efforts not only to provide goods or service to customers but also to create value for customers. In practice, customer value should be measured reasonably first. Then according to its condition, enterprise can apply the CVAM-based management accounting method by improving management quality, perfecting costing planning, brand operation and business innovation to create value for customers thus achieving increase of corporate value as well as social value.     

基于AD9834的简易信号源设计

采用模拟电路设计的信号源存在频率精度不高、调试与维修不方便以及直接升级困难等缺点。为了克服这些缺点,提出利用直接数字频率合成技术（AD9834）产生要求的正弦测井激励信号,利用小功率低压器件的串联实现信号的大功率大电压输出,利用电源跟踪技术在一定程度上降低功率器件的损耗,提高电路的工作效率。实验结果表明,信号源输出频率1～15Hz,频率分辨率为0.004Hz。     

Mapping the antecedents of telework diffusion: firm‐level evidence from Italy

Previous literature has studied telework practices predominantly from the employees' perspective rather than exploring its use at the firm level. With the objective of contributing to reducing this research gap, the relationship between firms' adoption of telework and the firms' technological, organisational and environmental contexts is explored. Data were obtained from a survey conducted between 2005 and 2009 on a sample of 1,134 Italian firms in the Piedmont region. The results show an overall increase in the diffusion of telework primarily attributable to a rise in the adoption of ‘mobile’ work rather than home‐based forms of telework. The results also show that firms that had previously adopted information systems supporting core business processes and knowledge management were more inclined to adopt telework. Telework arrangements were more widely diffused among firms facing a growing and geographically dispersed market demand, and also in the contexts of higher levels of human capital and lower capital intensity.     

How to deal with dissent among experts. Risk evaluation of EMF in a scientific dialogue

This article describes the results of a scientific discourse which aimed at exploring the reasons for differences in expert health risk assessment of radio frequency electromagnetic fields of mobile telephony.

It starts with describing the structure of the discourse. Then, the reasons for the conflicting risk assessments are discussed. Differences are due to the selection and evaluation of relevant scientific studies by applying different scientific quality standards, to the methods used for generating a research synthesis and an overall risk evaluation. Consensus could be achieved regarding the selection of and the quality requirements for the scientific studies used for risk assessment as well as their significance for risk evaluation. However, dissent remained about the synthesis of scientific evidence into an overall risk evaluation and about the relevance of the precautionary principle for risk evaluation and its implications for the risk assessment framework.

Based on the analysis of these problems, a transparent, consistent and rational procedure for risk assessment is suggested to facilitate a risk characterization which better meets the demands of policy making and the public for an appropriate risk evaluation.
